    Yes. You can order any web site style. We have more than 10 000 website templates to help you out. Additional charges may apply.


    Can I change the layout for my selected template? top

    The layout of your website can be changed to one of our FREE templates or your Custom template (* in case you ordered one) at any time.

    REMEMBER! By changing your website layout you are going to lose all your created pages and changed information except listings and other information that are saved in your database.

    If you have a custom designed template with the pages designed by our team and you have changed the layout. You lose all the pages and the additional charges will apply to re-build them again.



    Do you have any options other than a custom-built website for a lower price? top

    Yes. Our PORTAL system is the best solution for any budget. We are very flexible in this matter and we are happy if our clients are satisfied. Please do not hesitate to contact us to get more information. Also we can provide you with our wonderful FREE templates for your web site without any setup fee. * Monthly payments will apply.


    How can I pay? top

    You can pay by any credit card via PayPal, by regular or certified check. Other payment methods can be also arranged. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information. More info can be found on our website.


    How long does it take to develop a website? top

    Usually our team will create a website in 2 weeks. Custom programming takes more time.


    I use Portal FREE template. What are the main steps in creating a website? top

    1. create all dynamic pages
    2. create HTML pages with your content or with our default content.
    3. create listing pages
    4. link all pages to the front page template



    Do I need to use some additional image software to resize my picture before uploading? top

    Our program has a parfect Java-based software that can automatically change the image size without any quality loss. You can upload images directly from your digital camera and the system automatically fits them to a necessary size (thimbles and large view). You don't need any graphical software.


    Can I change web page content, contact information, and add pages to my website? top

    Yes. All your pages are self-manageable. You can change text, images, and photos on any page. You can also create a unlimited number of new pages.

    Will you create all the pages on my website using my text and images? top

    No, unfortunately it is not included in the package. Our standard package includes creation for only 10 to 12 standard pages with our default text. You can modify this text later via our on-line HTML Editor (similar to MS WORD).

    Custom page developing costs $25 per page with your ideas for layout, content and images.


    Can I register/transfer my own domain name to my web site? top

    Yes. You can register and transfer your own domain name from any Domain Registration Web site.

    We recommend to use http://www.godaddy.com. ($8 for one year) or http://www.cira.ca/en/register.html for Canadian domain name (~$20 for one year).

    If the registration process is too complicated or you don't have time for it. No Problem! We will register it for you. Remember that additional charges may apply. To read more about this service please log in to our website.


    How many domains can I connect to my web site? top

    You can setup a unlimited number of new domains and connect them to different web pages within your website.

    The custom index pages can have individual META TAGS and content.

    All of it can dramatically increase your web site search ability on the search engine.

    How will I get the information about my new clients from the web site? top

    Your website includes many dynamic forms (applications) and regular contact forms. All the forms after the submition to the client go to your e-mail box. The relevant information from these forms will be:

    • Saved in your Data Base

    Can I automatically send a Welcome or Thank You e-mail to my new customer who provided me with his contact information through my website? top

    Yes. By default all your new potential clients will receive a Thank You e-mail from you. You can modify the content of these e-mails.

    Can I get information in real time about my new website clients? top

    Yes. You can setup your own wireless connection with the website. In this case a message including the new client's name and phone number will be sent to your cell phone in real time.

    Are the search engine optimizations and submitting included in the package? top

    No. Portal generates most of the pages as regular HTML pages. HTML pages are easy readable by any search engine. Our Portal includes a marketing section that you can read more about it. Using this section you can edit META TAGS for each individual page and make corrections in the page content. You can create additional pages with special content and meta tags.

    Portal gives you a perfect tool for your web site optimization, but we can't give you any promises about your web site positions.

    Inside the Marketing section you can find a lot of information about optimization and submitting.


    Can I have my own e-mail account? top

    Yes. Each domain in our system can have POP e-mail accounts and unlimited forwarding accounts. The number of your available e-mail accounts and available space are depend on your package. If you do not know your package please do not hesitate to contact us.


    How can I connect my cell phone to my website? top

    Main left menu -> Messaging -> Setup wireless

    • Click "Enable wireless service"
    • Select your wireless provider *
    • Enter your cell phone number
    • Click 'Save" button
    * If you can't find your wireless provider in our list please contact us and we will setup your connection.


    What messages come to the "Received messages" page? top

    "Received messages" list includes all messages, which were sent by the visitors who registered, made a purchase or filled in any of your dynamic forms on the website. You can read, print, sort, or delete these massages.

    Yes. You can send or upload by one of our tools all the information and data you need for your website and we will customize your selected template for no additional price.

    • Make changes with our HTML EDITOR, switch into FULL SCREEN mode for your convenience

    I have a lot of pages on my website. Can I sort it in my Web page listings? top

    Yes.

    Main left menu -> Website builder -> Edit pages

    You see header of the table. Click on the column title to re-sort the pages.


    How can I add dynamic pages to my website? top

    Main left menu -> Website builder -> Edit pages

    You can change the type of the page at any time in future. These types of pages consist dynami forms and applications.
    • Click "Add" button on the bottom of page
    • Enter new page name in the top text field
    • Select type of the page to "Dynamic" and choose the page you need
    • Click "Save" button at the bottom of the page
    * Dynamic page cannot be edited.


    How can I add my custom listing page? top

    First you have to create a new page which include this listing (Let's say you have already saved your custom listing or quiry...read property listing section)

    Main left menu -> Website builder -> Edit pages
    Main TOP menu -> Website builder -> Edit Website pages

    • Click "Add" button on the bottom of page
    • Enter new page name in the top text field
    • Select type of the page to "Property listing" or "Item Listing" and choose a desired listing from the list
    • Click "Save" button at the bottom of the page
    The page is done, now we have to link this page (listing) with the button on your website.

    • You will see small "notepad" icon beside each link or button that can be changed
    • Click on this icon or click on a graphical button to connect it to a new link

    Can I insert my company logo on my FREE template? top

    Yes. You can upload any logo to your website or select logo from our library.

    • Upload logo or select from our library

    Can I change the background color on my website? top

    Yes. You can change website background using any custom color or image texture from our library.

    How many properties I can add to my web site? top

    Number of the properties depends on the seleted package. If you do not know the package you have selected or you wish to update your plan, please do not hesitate to contact us.


    How many images can I add to each property? top

    Unlimited.


    What type of images can I upload? top

    JPG (from all of the digital cameras), GIF


    What image size can I upload? top

    Our program has perfect Java-based software that can automatically change the image size without any quality loss. You can upload images directly from your digital camera and the system automatically fit them to a necessary size (thimbles and large view). You don't need any graphical software.


    Can I use my photo in the agent contact information? top

    Yes. You can upload your photo from your computer or digital camera. Our Java based image software automatically changes size and other parameters of your picture.

    I uploaded couple of images for one property, but no picture was displayed on the listing page of my web site, however, when I click on detail info I see all the images? top

    You have to setup MAIN image (visible from the listings page).

    Main TOP menu -> Property listing -> Property listing -> Edit/View detail
    Then
    • select MAIN photo (by clicking it)
    • click "Set main photo"


    Can I create Hot or Featured Properties listing? top

    Yes. You can select hot properties from general properties listing and order FLASH hot properties listing (looking very nice)

    Main left menu -> Properties -> Featured properties

    • Click "Add" button
    • Select featured property from your general listings by clicking on selected property
    You can create a separated page with featured properties or your first 4-25* properties will be displayed on the front page of your website (subject to the web site layout)

    * 4 properties will be displayed on the Front page with standard layout, if you have FLASH featured listing you can add up to 25 properties.
    ** Number of the properties depends on your website layout and selected package


    Can I create custom listing pages (e.g., listings in one area or only detached homes listing)? top

    Yes. You can create any custom listings and connect it to the website button or links.

    • From the top search boxes select criteria for your custom page. (Example: All city > For sale > Residential > All)
    • Click "Save Query" button on the listings page.
    • Enter name for this listing/query (e.g., Residential listing)
    • Connecting custom listing to web site
      • Main left menu -> Web site builder -> Edit pages
      • Main TOP menu -> Web site builder -> Edit pages
      • Click "Add" button on the button page
      • Enter page name on the top field (Example: My residential listing)
      • Select listing "Residential listing" from the "Property listing" section
      • Click "Save" button below
      • Main TOP menu -> Web site builder -> Edit Buttons & Links
      • Click on the link (button) for custom listings and select web page "My residential listing".


    What is the difference between "Save Query" button and "Save Listing" button on the Property listing page? top

    • "Save query" create dynamic page for your web site with custom listings. It means that if you add new property or delete property from/to your listings, which have all criteria of your custom listings, this property will be automatically added/deleted from your custom listings.

    • "Save Listing" create static custom page. You can send this page to any clients or connect to web site. Any changes to your property listings will not be displayed on your custom page.


    How can I check Saved Listing or Saved Query Listing? top

    Main left menu -> Properties -> Saved listing (Query listing)
    Main TOP menu -> Property listing -> Saved listing (Query listing)


    Can I add exclusive properties to my listings? top

    Yes. You can add exclusive properties by clicking ADD NEW PROPERTY button. You can add as much properties as it is allowed by your account.

    Do I need to re-print property information on my web site if this properties listed on Canada MLS? top

    No. If you are a member of Canadian MLS you can import any property from MLS to your web site listing in 1 sec.

    You can import your own properties or other agents' properties subject to their permission and in conformity with the Canada MLS TERMS and Conditions. RE-PORTAL provides with a tool to import a property but it does not take any responsibility for unauthorized import of the properties.

    There are two ways to Import property from the MLS:
    1. Via e-mail (bulk import allowed, disadvantages: need some time to appear in the listing)
      Log in http://www.torontomls.net and send the properties you are interested in to mls@yourdomainname.com. Within 1-24 hours (depends on the line) these properties will be displayed on your website.
    2. Copy/Paste (only one property can be added at a time, advantages: property appears immediately)
      Go to http://www.torontomls.net, select the property you want to add to your database from the Print Friendly format (Ctrl+A), copy it (Ctrl+C). Then come back to your website and paste the copied property to a white screen [Ctrl+V], click on Import button below. The property will be immediately inserted into your listings.



    How can I modify my Property Listing Search options? (Standard or advance) top

    How can I display the property price in different currencies? top

    Can I develop a PRIVATE listings page on my web site? top

    Yes. You can create and customize your properties listing in line with the Privacy Law.

    In Canada as well as in other countries you can't display full address and picture of private properties on a web site. Our RE-Portal can offer you several options in this respect:
    • Show street address on the property detailed information
    • Do not show street address on the property detailed information
    • Standard slide show interface
    • Advanced slide show interface with pictures preview
    • All listings photos are available for viewing by anybody from inside and outside the system
    • Listing pictures are available for viewing only by an authorized user
    • Pictures are unavailable to view

    Yes. You can select the following types of contact to agent*.

    How I can change the agent contact information on my listing? top

    You can use any registered agent contact information for any property *.

    Change agent contact information:
    Main left menu -> Properties -> Listings

    - Click Edit/View detail for selected property
    - Go to Current Status section
    - Click Pending/Sold option (Red one)
    - Change the agent name from Broker/Agent select box.
    - Click Save button

    Can I setup "Open house" option for some properties? top

    Yes. You can put special sign on this property image, show the date, time and add some comments about OPEN HOUSE.

    - Click Edit/View detail for selected OPEN HOUSE property
    - Go to Open House section (Blue one)
    - Click Enabled
    - Enter comments about current Open House

    Can I add property listing "for rent or lease"? top

    Yes. You can setup Contract date and Contract expired date for your rent or lease properties. After this date, system will move this property to archive.

    - Go to Sale/Rent/Lease section (Green one)
    - Select sellers, Contract date and Contract expired date

    Can I show sold properties on my listings pasge with special sign? top

    Yes. You can show any properties as SOLD with special sign on your listing.

    - Click Edit/View detail for sold property
    - Go to Pending/Sold section (Red one)
    - Add buyers information
    - Select broker/agent

    - Select SOLD option
    - Click Save button


    Can I build my own archive for sold properties? top

    Yes. You can create your own archive and add some information about sold properties like Broker/Agent name, Selling/Sold Price, Commission, %, Effective Date, Closing/Closed Date, Closing comments

    - Click Edit/View detail for sold property
    - Go to Pending/Sold section (Red one)

    Can I use custom property category and property type for my listings? (Example: Grenada, India and other countries, have Private Islands or Land/Lots for sale) top

    Yes. You can fully customize your properties types and all new type will be searchable on your listings page.

    How can I remove my properties from listings? top

    You have three choices to remove a property:
    • Delete selected property
      Main left menu -> Properties -> Listings
      Main TOP menu -> Property listing -> Property listing
      - Click Edit/View detail
      - Click "Delete" button on the bottom of page
    • Bulk removal properties
      Main left menu -> Properties -> Bulk removal
      Main TOP menu -> Property listing -> Bulk removal
      - Check properties for removal (Red column)
      - Click "Delete" button on the page
    • Move property to ARCHIVE

    Can I order special listings and/or custom features for my web site? top

    Yes. You can order any custom features for your web site for additional price.

    Can I have my own listings including my contact information? top

    Yes. You can manually add exclusive properties to your listings or import any property from Canada MLS (subject to the permission of the listing broker). You don't need to re-print any information. Florida agents can use on their websites all Florida property listings. See details in the property listing section.

    Can I create accounts for my agents? top

    Yes. You can register an unlimited number of agents on your web site. Each agent will have his/her own password for access to the agent's administrator. An agent can add properties with his/her own contact information, build a list of customers, prepare listings for an individual client, send e-mails and any documents to thier own customers and much more.

    Can I build my clients database? top

    Yes. Each agent can register an unlimited number of clients. Each client will have his own password to his account. A client can read documents and check listings prepared by an agent and much more.

    I have 15 agents in my agency. Can I have a website for each agent? top

    3. Sort your keyword phases by the pages of your web site. No more than 6-10 phases per page.

    What is dangerous for your web site on the Search Engine????top
